What I would do with Three Wishes

by Kathy Somers

If I were granted three wishes it would be a dream come true.  I remember watching "Bewitched" on television as a kid and wishing so much that I could twitch my nose and make all these wonderful funny things happen.

This is going to be a short and sweet article, as the wishes I have in my mind are quite simple.

Number One Wish:  Health for my children for all the days of their lives.

Number Two Wish: To have a peace of mind.

Number Three Wish: To have as many wishes as I want.

With that said, the wishes that I get with my number three wish would be finanical stability, just enough to get through life with a roof over our heads.

I wish I was a better Mother.

I would wish that everyone in the entire world would be friends with their neighbours.

I would wish that everyone had breakfast, dinner and supper everyday.

I would wish that there would be no pain nor suffering for anyone on this planet.

I guess I am just wishing that Jesus would come back and make everything right for everyone.

I am not a greedy wisher, I could be easily, but I am to scared to wish for bigger things in life like new cars, boats, home, more money and things like that in case God takes away the blessings he has already provided me with now.

I know that when worry and stress takes over my life it's hard for me to see really how many wishes have came true in my life.  I do realize how lucky I am, I just get blindsided sometimes.  I have to take the blindfolds off more often!

But I still have wishes....

Very good wishes. I used to love bewitched and wouldn't it be great to twitch our noses and get things done just the way we'd want them! I like your last line...that you still have wishes. I guess we all do and we should never stop wishing and never stop believeing that they can come true.

Kathy (who we sometimes call Katie)........From the time I first knew you several years ago, you have become an all-time favorite friend, so sincere and so real and so very, very generous. This article yet again depicts your caring nature. What a good girl you are. I hope you and the boys are doing great. Thanks for writing your special thoughts to share with us. I really enjoy reading what you think about and I enjoy your "teaching" lessons, too. Thanks, Kathy! Have a good autumn!!
